THE WORKSHOP

MY PROCESS, MY CRAFT: A LOOK INSIDE THE WORKSHOP

I’ve been making jewellery since 2005. I trained through a traditional apprenticeship, learning not just the techniques of goldsmithing, but the patience, discipline, and intuition that come with working metal by hand.

Jewellery has been part of my life for two decades - not just as a profession, but as an obsession.

I work from my studio in Marlay Park, Dublin, where every piece begins at the bench and is shaped by hand.

My designs are made in small batches using 9ct and 18ct gold, often paired with natural pearls, diamonds, and carefully chosen gemstones. I’m drawn to clean lines, soft curves, and the kind of finishes that invite touch - a balance of satin texture and perfect polish.

There’s inspiration everywhere: in Irish landscapes, ancient forms, and the quiet clarity of good design. But my work always returns to this - making pieces that feel thoughtful, enduring, and a pleasure to wear.

In 2022, my studio was listed in the Michelangelo Foundation’s Homo Faber Guide, recognising excellence in European craftsmanship. It’s an honour - but what matters most is that each piece finds a place in someone’s story.
